The major duties of the Supervisory Interdisciplinary position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervises Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) and Historic American Landscapes (HALS) staff by planning and assigning work, reviewing employee performance, and executing all other routine supervisory functions.
Directs inhouse HAER and HALS documentation projects by developing workplans, securing funding, and tracking project execution, schedules, and budgets.
Develops guidelines and standards for the documentation of historic structure and landscapes in the HAER and HALS collections.
Directs the review of HAER and HALS documentation for conformance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Architectural and Engineering Documentation.
Provides outreach and training to a variety of stakeholders on the documentation of historic structures and landscapes.
