Provide leadership, consultation, and direction on program requirements and procedures to MTF staff and the Command.
Coordinate reporting from higher level command quality management and improvement programs, ensuring compliance with the Performance Improvement Plan, the individual Quality Improvement Plans and the Joint Commission (JC).
Serve as the MTF's clinical consultant, command advisor authority and facilitator with DoD personnel and other MTFs, installations, and agencies regarding patient safety.
Serve as consultant and resource person to staff personnel and regarding current infection control matters and policies.
Serve as liaison among members of the staff in clinical and non-clinical areas on infection control issues.
