The Opportunity
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Internship in our Automation, Integration & System Protection department to work over the Summer of 2025. The focus of the internship will be for an individual of high integrity to grow in personal excellence through learning technical and communications skills while supporting client success through work on project deliverables. The internship will provide opportunities to work on projects in the power market for both utility and renewable clients. This position can be hybrid from any of the offices listed.
What You'll Do
The Engineering Intern works under close supervision and receives specific and detailed instructions required to complete tasks and achieve results expected. The Engineering Intern will work with engineers to complete assignments and meet project deadlines. Assignments will focus on one or all of the following: Substation SCADA, Network, or relay settings design. Opportunities for site visits and trainings may be provided. An internship with Ulteig provides valuable engineering design experience, practical application of coursework, and valuable workforce experience with a top consulting engineering firm.
What We Expect from You
- Minimum of 2 years completed towards earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Specific coursework specializing in electrical power systems is preferred
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word and Excel)
- Must be able to work over summer 2025
- Must have a valid US driver's license, or ability to obtain prior to starting date
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the US

Target Base Compensation for this role is $27.00/hr
