Responsible for patient-facing registration and associated tasks which include information collection, validation, and requisitioning of orders and services. May also participate in Insurance-related tasks including but not limited to: verification, collection of co-payments, and collection of associated paperwork.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Obtains and verifies patient information for registration.
- Requests payment of financial responsibility from patient/guarantor.
- Obtains federally-required and hospital-required consents
- Reconciles daily bank bags.
- Posts monies collected and/or data entry or charge codes to financial system.
- Works in various patient settings and locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
Required:
- High School diploma/GED
