General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer for a local company that produces Roofing products In this role, you will handle rolls coming down the line, remove them from the conveyor belt, and stack them accordingly. You will assist in the set up, starting, and stopping of the machine to run the material through for production while maintaining the correct line speed. You will also be inspecting, repairing, and staging rolls to be run. This position is entry level and training will be provided

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CHAMBERSBURG, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment with running machines and forklifts. The facility manufactures roofing materials.

See below for the schedule:

• Monday: 10:00am-6:00pm

• Tuesday/Wednesday: 6:00am-6:00pm

• Thursday: 6:00am-2:00pm

• Fridays: Off

Work and Meal Breaks for 12-hour shifts:

• Two 15-minute breaks

• One 30-minute lunch break

A-Shift Work and Meal Breaks on 8-hour days:

• One 15-minute break

• One 30-minute lunch break
