DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide design and thought leadership within the team to drive out solutions that meet business requirements using established integration patterns. Research and industry trends to assess the competitive landscape and best practices. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Find optimal solutions that deliver on client needs and payment brand requirements for global processing. Use the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Work with data modelers to create clear specifications that can be used by Clients and the delivery teams. Lead testing of interface designs to ensure objectives are met. Work closely with delivery teams to ensure specifications are implemented as designed. Establish metrics used to evaluate effectiveness of the solutions. Monitor product performance with reports and dashboards, and periodic stakeholder reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product, Software Engineer, Technical Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Global payments; LATAM payments regulatory and processing requirements; Agile; networks; payment brand rules and regulations; merchant acquiring; payments product development; platform transformation; cloud; microservices; APIs; end-to-end product development lifecycle (PDLC) for complex, large scale initiatives.
Job Location: 4915 Independence Parkway, Tampa, FL 33634. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
