    Job Description

    Payroll:

  • Processing bi-weekly payroll for US (450) and Canada (16) and Bermuda populations (1-monthly). Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Workday (HRIS)
  • Auditing bi-weekly and monthly payroll, which is mostly auditing data and communicating with the payroll provider
Liaise with the Account Payable team to fund payrollAssist with Leave Management, time and attendance, ensure no overpaymentsProcessing post payroll transactions- e.g. 401K, H.S.A, FSA, quarterly transit passesAuditing 2024 data for W2 preparationOur first payroll of 2025 is a big one with benefit deduction changes that will need auditing. Ensure non eligible employee do not have benefit deductions eg. Top Hat employees not eligible for a 401K deductionIntegration from Workday to ADP with payroll related changesAssist with compliance filingsPartnering with the Corporate tax team and ADP to ensure new tax jurisdictions are set up correctly and income withholding is appliedAudit employee data to ensure proper tax withholding I applied as employee's relocate their residence or office locations, state, local and SUI taxLiaise with ADP for employees inquiriesCoordinating with ADP for single sign on access for new hires and decommissioning terminating employees so they maintain ADP accessLearn the PTO accrual scheduleWorkers Compensation salary preparation for the annual renewalQuarterly tax funding for BermudaPeriodic audit payroll/benefits data to maintain data integrityAssist with processing invoice payments to carriers

Benefits:
Oversee integration's from Workday to the benefit carriers, plan variation codes.Learn the benefit offerings to answer employee inquiries.Conduct exit interviews to explain the impact of separation on an employee's benefitsAssist with updating the Intranet with relevant benefit detailsAssist with reviewing the Wellness notes shared with employees.Maintain annual compliance calendar and ensure deliverable are being met. E.g. Medicare D notice, SARs comm, 5500 filings, annual pension funding notice etcMaintain employee eligibility files for benefits such as Calm (global) and Bright Horizons, Equinox, Rally (US)Audit detail for the 5500 filingInvoice reconciliation between invoices and lives coveredAssist with the audit of the annual ACA filingPrepare "how to" screen shots so employees know how to navigate through Workday and intranetAssist employees with onboarding/benefitsWeekly funding request with the AP department to

Data requests supporting the compensation, compliance teamsCoordinate in person events; e.g. Flu shots

The Successful Applicant

Required skills:

ADP Workforce Now5-7 years of experience Workday- specifically preparing and running reportsAbility to demonstrate confidentialityPrior Leave Management experience, FMLA, Corporate leave etc.Demonstrated analysis, payroll, compensation, benefit deduction and invoice reconciliation. Strong MS Excel skillsProven interpersonal skillsExperience with processing payroll for multiple regions is a plus

Location:
NYC Hybrid Schedule - 3 days a week in the officeHours 9am-5pm
