We’re looking for a field applications engineer who will work directly with our customers to integrate and deploy Adagy’s service on their robots. This is a customer facing role. You’ll play a critical role in the product’s success, working closely with customers and the engineering team to achieve seamless deployment and operation of the product. 

You will: 

Set up sophisticated networking systems to communicate between robotic hardware and Adagy’s cloud-based system, enabling guaranteed connectivity and data privacy  Work with customers’ engineering teams to integrate new robots into the Adagy system Lead customer support as the primary point of contact for customers’ engineering teams Travel frequently to customer locations for deployments and check-in visits Play a critical role in shaping the company culture and customer success as an early hire Learn about many different types of robots and how they operate

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, robotics, mechanical engineering, or related fields Previous experience in a customer facing role – bringing excitement and understanding to customer interactions Experience with advanced networking solutions  Experience working with one of: ROS/ROS2, REST, gRPC Familiarity with different VPN and encryption solutions, like Tailscale or Husarnet Experience deploying robotic systems Fast learner who can quickly pick up new technologies and skills Ability to navigate stressful situations Willing and able to travel > 50% of the time

Professional experience working with python or javascript Experience with bash scripting, Docker, AWS Past experience working as a robotics deployment engineer
