Active Water Sports is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in marine or automotive systems.

Duties:
Be able to diagnosis repairs needed on marine engines and systems
Determine the steps required to make repairs
Complete repairs on inboard and outboard boats
Follow safety precautions and procedures at all times
Wear appropriate safety/protective gear at all times
Accept work only from service writer or manager
Reports all low inventory or shortages of materials needed
Exercise precaution to ensure cleanliness of boat (booties, runners, covers etc.)
Submit work orders/parts requests to service writer to obtain customer authorization
Follow manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
Review all recalls, service bulletins and product updates
Ensure all tools/equipment are maintained and returned to proper storage location at end of shift
Maintain clean personal appearance
Maintain clean workstation
Maintain company vehicles to the highest standard
Attends training seminars as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Marine/Automotive Diagnostic: 2 years (Required)
Previous mechanical and technical skills in automotive or marine industry (Required)
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid OR state drivers license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Marine/automotive experience required
Able to work in a close team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, Overtime opportunities, Labor Bonus, and Profit Sharing

Expected hours: 40 per week
8 hour shift Monday to Friday
