This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another US based non-Best Buy Health location.

What you'll do

* Write secure and high-quality code following best syntax standards with limited guidance.
* Design, develop, troubleshoots and support code reviews considering upstream and downstream backend systems
* Leads and effectively manages the triage of complex issues across systems in production environments and locally.
* Manage multiple tasks concurrently, efficiently in a collaborative way
* Contribute to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
* Coach and mentor mid-level Software Engineers
* Other duties as assigned, including production support at off hours.

Basic qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience required
* Minimum 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
* Knowledgeable about software design patterns and algorithms
* Experience in AWS microservices environment
* .NET C# proficiency and coding skills including unit tests and API development.
* Working knowledge of NoSQL database engines such as MongoDB
* Experience with Software Configuration Management and CI/CD

Preferred qualifications

* Prior experience with event messaging systems such as MQTT, RabbitMQ
* Experience with technologies and tools such as Kafka, NiFi, Kubernetes, AWS
* Experience with monitoring services such as DataDog
