Description

The Hotel Ambassador plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by seamlessly integrating the responsibilities of a valet, bellhop, and concierge. This multi-faceted position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about customer service, possesses knowledge of the local area and thrives in a guest-centered hospitality environment. The Hotel Ambassador is the first and last point of contact for guests, ensuring a memorable stay through personalized service, attentiveness, and a welcoming demeanor. Starting wage is $17.76/hr plus tips increasing to $18.86/hr plus tips at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience & Requirements:

Previous valet parking attendant required Must have ability to deal with personnel and guest-related matters while providing a high level of guest service High level knowledge of the local area, attractions, restaurants, and entertainment Must have good communication skills with a friendly and courteous attitude Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

Must be in excellent physical condition Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Ability to sprint ¼ mile several times per shift Manual dexterity and ability to drive any type of vehicle (Manual, Automatic, Electric) Must be able to tolerate exposure to inclement weather Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
