Administrative Assistant (GoodMaui)

A local construction company is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join their team and assist with general office duties such as sorting mail, ordering office supplies, and scheduling meetings. You will also assist project management teams with correspondence and organization of plans for projects. Must be willing to work in both Kihei and Lahaina as needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain administrative experience with full time availability.

Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Location Kihei, Maui Pay $24 an hour Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages.
  • Handle outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Maintain office supplies and order as needed.
  • Print, copy, scan, and file documents.
  • Drive company vehicle as needed.
  • Maintain PPE inventory and distribute to new employees and site visitors.
  • Assist with new employee safety orientations.
  • Coordinate post-accident drug screens, respirator fit tests and physicals between employees and clinic.
  • Record accidents and incident reports.
  • Assist with attaining and maintaining county permits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.
  • Hardworking and reliable.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
