Entry Level Event Assistant

Position Overview: As an Entry Level Event Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for event management to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and organization of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and logistics management.
* Assist with on-site event setup, including arranging seating, decorations, and audiovisual equipment.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.
* Assist in post-event activities such as gathering feedback, analyzing event success, and compiling event wrap-up reports.
* Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall event experience and achieve client objectives.
* Maintain organized event files, documents, and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Event Manager or senior team members.
Qualifications:
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
* Enthusiasm for the event industry, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
