**The Supervising Physician at our Coastside Clinic** site, will have the unique prospect to oversee a cohesive and diverse team serving a geographically dispersed and more rural community in **Half Moon Bay**. Serving a large farmworker community, it boasts a small and powerful team committed to delivering comprehensive **Primary Care** including a mobile van that travels weekly out to **Pescadero**.
**The Supervising Physician** works in concert with manager and nursing leadership to lead local quality improvement work and program development in addition to direct on-site clinical work
(50% direct patient care time), and supervision of the provider team.
**This FQHC clinic site is part of San Mateo Medical Center,** a fully accredited acute/long term care/teaching hospital whose vision is to help every patient live the healthiest life possible. **Job Qualifications**
_**Licensure/Certification:**_
_**Education and Experience:**_
1. License to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of California.
2. Possession of a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
3. Three years of experience in the designated medical specialty.
4. Board Certification or eligibility for certification in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine or a related area is highly desirable.
5. Communication and Consensus Building: Has had experience bringing diverse viewpoints and stakeholders together successfully to accomplish goals and commands the trust and respect others.
