POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (FNF) is seeking an experienced individual to perform reconciliation services and reconciliation analysis of escrow and trust accounts containing settlement funds maintained by title agencies, attorneys and law firms appointed with the FNF family of title insurance underwriters. The candidate will be a member of the National Agency Quality Assurance (NAQA) team based in Jacksonville, Florida. Local candidates are desired and will have a hybrid work schedule upon completion of training.

LOCATION

- This position sits at our HQ in Jacksonville, FL – hybrid work schedule.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manages agents contracted with FNF NAQA to reconcile their escrow trust accounts.
- Performs reconciliations via remote access in several industry related software applications.
- Prepares statutory, industry and FNF required accounting reports for each reconciliation.
- Prepares invoices and follows up on accounts receivable for reconciliation services.
- Analyzes reconciliations prepared by agents for validity and activity that may pose a risk.
- Adheres to American Land Title Association and FNF Agency Escrow Trust Accounting Controls
- Maintains account and reconciliation information in FNF Agency applications.
- Communicates reconciliation exceptions to agents and FNF NAQA and Sales management.
- Provides preventative and corrective measures to agents for exceptions detected in the reconciliations.
- Strengthens agency relationships with continuous feedback to agent owners and their personnel.
- Provides administrative support to NAQA management and colleagues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires 2+ years of bookkeeping and bank account reconciliation experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree specializing in business, accounting or finance preferred.
- Previous experience in title insurance agency or law office specializing in real estate settlements.
- Previous bookkeeping experience with real estate settlement software (SoftPro or Qualia) or Quicken/QuickBooks.
- Excellent math, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great computer, data entry, typing and 10 key skills.
- Strong organizational skills to process high volumes and maintain deadlines.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Proficient communication and customer service skills.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS 365 applications.
