Our client, an academic medical center located in the New York City Metro area, is hiring a Hematology/Oncology Physician. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a collegial, patient-focused Health with a rich history of providing excellent evidence based and compassionate care to the communities. Join our Client's growing Cancer and Blood practice in an infusion center. The center offers comprehensive services, extensive tumor boards, excellent radiology, and pathology as well as clinical trials with opportunities to participate/lead and the ability for some focus on oncology specialty. Radiation Oncology services are offered on site. The ideal candidate will provide general adult oncology and hematology consultations, order and supervise chemotherapy administration, all in a warm, professional, and collegial atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical care for busy hematology/oncology practice within hospital
  • Perform consultation services to hematology/oncology patients
  • Hospital based (clinic in hospital)
  • 100% outpatient
  • Schedule: 8-5pm, w/weekend call (split with 2 attendings)
  • Academic opportunity, teach residents

Job Requirements:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
