St. Lawrence Health (SLH) was established in December 2013 with the mission to improve health and to expand access through coordination and integration of services.
SLH became an affiliate of Rochester Regional Health (RRH) in January 2021. Core Hospitals
SLH is comprised of three hospitals and a number of outreach primary and specialty care practices throughout St. Lawrence County. Each practice is affiliated with one of our hospitals.
Canton-Potsdam Hospital (CPH) is a not-for-profit community healthcare facility certified for 94 beds. Its core programs include emergency medicine, acute care, hospitalist medicine, critical care, and a Level III Trauma Center that is fully equipped to provide rapid and thorough trauma care to adults involved in physically traumatic situations.Gouverneur Hospital (GH) is a not-for-profit critical access hospital certified for 25 beds. Services include emergency care, medical imaging and EKGs, laboratory, physical rehabilitation, and respiratory therapy. GH also houses our comprehensive substance abuse rehabilitation programs, including medicated assisted treatment, and behavioral therapies.Massena Hospital (MH) is a 25-bed acute care hospital providing inpatient, medical, surgical, and detoxification services in addition to emergency care. MH s main campus also provides medical imaging and laboratory services, nutritional counseling, respiratory care, cardiac rehabilitation, and inpatient physical and speech therapies. Outreach health centers offer the community cardiology, infusion, nephrology, neurology, OB-GYN and women s health, pediatrics, and primary care.The Practice
The St. Lawrence health Gastroenterology and Hepatology team works tirelessly to maintain a commitment of excellence, promoting digestive health through preventative care. Using high-tech services and compassionate care, our team diagnoses and treats a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
St. Lawrence Health s gastroenterologists work as a team to provide comprehensive diagnostic, preventative, and treatment options for conditions that may affect the digestive system, including: Crohn s disease, colitis, gastrointestinal reflux, colon or colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, endoscopic ultrasounds, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcers.

St. Lawrence Health is looking for full-time Gastroenterologists to join the team.
The ideal candidate will be BE within 5 years of completing residency or BC in Gastroenterology.Position is located in Potsdam at CPH/Leroy Outpatient Center with potential outreach to other clincs. Leroy Outpatient Center has a lower level for most surgical needs; OR is used for higher risk patients and larger GI procedures.Call is required for this position.Financial Package
Compensation: Competitive compensation based on MGMA benchmarking
Signing Bonus: $25,000
Relocation: $15,000
Licensing & Dues: $2,000
CME s: $4,000
Benefit Time: 240 hours
Holiday Time: 7 days
