General DutiesResponsible for the Quality function at Parco.
Specific Duties- Maintains and improves the quality management system in relation to AS9100, ISO 9000, and NADCAP requirements.
- Supervises quality department employees and activities.
- Helps other departments resolve quality problems.
- Assists other departments to improve product and process quality and handle quality-related matters.
- Recommends specific product and process improvements to the president and other department heads;
- Represents the quality department at regular and unscheduled meetings at Parco;
- Schedules and supervises internal audits.
- Manages the corrective action program.
- Manages the customer and vendor complaint process.
- Visits customers to represent Parco about quality-related matters.
- Represents Parco for second-party and third-party audits.
- Responds to customer requests for non-routine quality projects and information.
Five years managing the quality function of a small-to-medium size manufacturer.
Education RequiredCollege degree with emphasis in engineering or business administration.
Special Skills Required- Strong supervisory skills.
- Ability to train and develop subordinates.
- Thorough knowledge of popular quality system requirements.
- Very good use of Microsoft Windows and Office programs.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good technical instruction writer.
- Some knowledge of the rubber seal manufacturing process preferred.
