The oncology research and translational space is evolving at a rapid pace with emerging biomarkers, technologies and assays providing insights into the cause and potential cures for cancer. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our growing oncology product marketing team to serve this critical market segment. As a global product manager you will own the success of ddPCR-based oncology assays and kits by representing the customer as well as the business interests throughout product development and product life cycle. You will translate your in-depth knowledge of the marketplace - including the competitive landscape, technical and scientific trends, and insights into customer needs - to develop and market differentiated quality products & solutions. A proven ability to articulate your ideas across the organization, and work cross-functionally across diverse research, scientific, sales, and marketing teams will be a key requirement. 

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • Define and bring to market new products and/or workflows for the translational oncology market in line with the group’s overall business strategy; be an internal and external champion of the assigned product portfolio. 
  • Lead specifying requirements for current and future products by conducting primary and secondary market research including VOCs, gathering competitive intelligence, and monitoring market trends. 
  • Construct and deliver compelling stories to the research and clinical markets that promote the portfolio of ddPCR products and the customer problems the products are intended to solve. 
  • Participate in relevant meetings, including internal core team meetings to ensure progress and alignment across various teams. 
  • Contribute to the development of commercial and go-to-market strategies, and aid with the execution of marketing tactics including launch plans led by program marketing, to deliver on the group’s sales and revenue goals.

What You Bring: 

The ideal candidate will be an innovative and strategic thinker, a data-driven problem solver, flexible in changing direction and methods, excel at managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, and succeed in communicating with all levels within the organization. 

  • Education: BS/MS in molecular biology or a similar field; PhD and/or MBA preferred. 
  • Work Experience: 5 years of direct product management experience in the life sciences or closely related industry; previous experience with development and launch of PCR-based molecular technologies (digital PCR, NGS) strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of the oncology space including understanding of biomarkers for therapy selection, minimal residual disease (MRD) etc is ideal. 
  • Ability to develop and articulate business cases based on primary and secondary market research, understanding of the technical and scientific needs of customers, and competitive landscape. 
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including strong written and verbal English skills, and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence, empathy, ability to influence colleagues, resolve conflicts, and align stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and disciplines. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,200 to $179,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
