The Operating Services Assistant Manager analyzes and implements existing business processes, new product rollouts, and equipment for the purposes of identifying and executing on improvement initiatives and maintaining brand standards.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize productivity.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various restaurant functions ensuring consistencies across all platforms.
  • Analyze operational and guest data to evaluate and improve processes
  • Work cross functional with OI team on projects impacting brand
  • Create and Implement brand wide launches

Product, Smallwares, Design and Equipment Operationalization:

Execution

  • Create and implement testing strategy from selection, to success criteria to recommendation.
  • Conduct training sessions for drive-in on operational procedures, customer service, and use of technology.
  • Monitor and assess drive-in performance, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Supply Chain

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize stock rotation to minimize waste and reduce holding costs.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and service.

Budget Management

  • Assist in budget creation and adherence of test, working to optimize operational costs without compromising quality.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and suggested improvements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in restaurant operations or a similar role.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
