The Foley Entertainment Group LLC (“FEG”) – which operates the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights in addition to several other sports, venue, and hospitality entities – is seeking a Creative Director to lead the strategic brand and creative direction for the Vegas Golden Knights and FEG’s Nevada-based sports and venue properties. This individual will be responsible for creating all brand materials, including printed, digital and experiential, leading and inspiring the Creative Team, and managing and fulfilling all internal creative project requests. The Creative Director will be responsible for developing brand campaigns, advancing our overall brand in innovative ways and protecting the brand integrity throughout internal and external usages.  This position will be based at City National Arena in Summerlin, NV and report to the Chief Marketing Officer.  Candidates should provide a design portfolio for review that is rich in originality, creativity and innovation. Responsibilities:
  • Lead ideation, development on ongoing execution for all high-level creative projects including but not limited to: brand campaigns, season look and feel, logo design, digital graphics for distribution on official team channels, in-venue/arena signage, experiential buildouts, retail items and other projects as assigned
  • Lead and inspire design team linemates through mentorship, skill development and growth
  • Manage all internal project requests through the organization’s project management software tool ensuring timely completion and deadlines successfully met
  • Ensure brand standards and guidelines are adhered to in all creative executions, both internally and externally
  • Ensure creative is at the cutting edge of innovation and industry trends
  • Work closely with Chief Marketing Officer, Entertainment Team and Broadcast Team to maintain brand consistency across all mediums
  • Work closely with Chief Marketing Officer on developing and overseeing creative budget
  • Support all Nevada-based FEG sports and venue properties, including the Henderson Silver Knights, Vegas Knight Hawks, City National Arena, America First Center and any potential future acquisitions through consultation and advisement on creative direction as well as content creation for high-level assignments
  • FEG Hospitality and International project work and advisement may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications and Expectations
  • 4-year degree in graphic design or related field
  • 7+ years design-related experience including management experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating industry-leading skills in graphic design, branding, layout design, typography, photo editing, and print 
  • Proficient with current Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delegate and ensure deadlines are met
  • Accountable to deadlines and holding team members accountable to said deadlines
  • Experience seeking out, vetting and recommending leading software and creative tools
  • Present at majority of VGK home games and ability to work on non-home game dates
