The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent in various locations through community outreach, networking, and local recruitment events. This role requires a strong understanding of regional employment markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
- Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job fairs, community events, networking, social media, and local partnerships.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
Recruitment and Screening:
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
- Evaluate applicants' resumes and application forms to determine if they meet the job requirements.
Community Engagement:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, universities, community organizations, and employment agencies to source candidates.
- Represent the company at job fairs, open houses, and other recruiting events.
- Partner with local workforce development programs to identify potential talent.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates.
- Assist with onboarding new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the company.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruiting activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide regular reports and updates to the recruitment team and hiring managers.
Travel:
- Attend regional recruitment events as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience in recruitment, particularly in field or regional recruiting roles.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and network effectively within communities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and adapt to changing recruitment needs.
