As a leading hotel in the luxury market, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is looking for a Female Massage Therapist to join the Spa Team at this beautiful property  

This Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond hotel has 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes an elevated Mediterranean restaurant, a Jean-Georges rooftop restaurant, lobby lounge, and in-room dining.

Classification: Part-Time

Shift: At least 3 shifts a week, Sunday 12:30pm - 7:15pm, Wednesday 10am - 2:30pm and Friday 10am-2:30pm are required. Additional add on shifts may include Tuesday 4pm - 7:15pm and Thursday 4pm - 7:15pm.

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $16.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Massage Therapist, you would be responsible for performing massages and/or body treatments for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Perform massage and/or body treatments
  • Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform general Spa duties, as needed
Requirements

Qualifications for Massage Therapist-

Must have:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Massage Therapist License from CA Massage Therapy CouncilStrong English language skills and communication skillsProfessional presentationAbility to work with maximum accuracyEfficiency and attention to detail, maintaining a keen sense of urgency at all times.  Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.  Excellent ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions.  Ability to actively demonstrate initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.  Excels in a team environment.  The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel dataBasic computer skills Strongly preferred: 5 Star experience highly preferred Luxury experience Training in Forbes standards of service preferred Strong preference for candidates with additional language skills in German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean or Chinese
