Enterprise Capabilities is responsible for design, development, testing, and delivery of actuarial modeling solutions. We support numerous use-cases including Valuation, Pricing, Forecast, and Capital Optimization. Our team is collaborating with several cross-functional teams to stand up a new modeling platform as a key part of the Financial Management organization's broader transformational effort. The initial focus will be on Bermuda framework calculations and reporting.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Support current development of Bermuda reinsurance entity financial reporting and projections processes:
- Collaborate with stakeholders on methodology and process requirements.
- Test ALM model Reserves and Capital calculations, including detailed methodology replication and impact analysis.
- Design and develop data transformation processes, workflow automation, post-model calculations, and results analysis tools on the TARDIS Python development platform.
- Test end-to-end capabilities to ensure coverage of regulatory and internal reporting needs, including sensitivity and attribution runs.
- Coordinate releases and contribute to documentation of methodology, procedures, and testing.
- Support Valuation and Pricing users as needed: provide training, enhance tools, and assist with analyses.
Collaborate with business and technology partners on modeling platform architecture:
- Extend the platform to cover new use-cases and capabilities.
- Identify business needs, propose solutions, and define execution plans.
- Promote designs that enable flexibility, stability, transparency, and actuarial self-service.
What you'll need:
- ASA or higher actuarial credentials
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience in actuarial work (valuation, forecasting, capital management)
- 3+ years of experience with actuarial regulatory frameworks (US Statutory, US GAAP, ICS)
- Experience constructing or evaluating actuarial models and processes
- Strong communications skills to interface between actuarial users and technical teams
- Some programming experience
It'd be a plus if you had:
- Understanding of Asset and Liability Management concepts and ALM projections models
- Knowledge of Bermuda insurance financial reporting and regulatory framework
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies

The salary range for this role is from $160,700.00 to $217,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
