Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Senior Database Developer with an active secret clearance to support an Air Force project. This position is remote, with the expectation of a few trips per year to Omaha, NE for data center support.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions into our .NET-based applications.
- Implement best practices for database security, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with industry standards.
- Work with messaging queues and entity frameworks to enhance data processing and communication.
- Support the Software Development team by providing expertise in database design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in Azure DevOps processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Occasionally travel to our data center location in Omaha, NE (less than 20% of the time).
Qualifications:
- Active secret or top secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge of security best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Availability Groups, Replication, and other high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.
