Job Description Our client, a building materials company, is looking for a few Principal/Senior Network Engineers to join their datacenter team. They are a large, market leading company with a large-scale network infrastructure, so they’re looking to expand their team so they can get some of their project initiatives moving.
They are looking to virtualize their network and start going into a more hybrid-cloud based model of infrastructure. They’re also hoping to migrate from their Cisco ASA firewalls to NextGen. They need network engineers experienced with VMware and AWS or Azure to help spearhead these projects and hit the ground running. The ideal candidate is skilled with Cisco (Meraki/Nexus), ASA, FirePower, ISE, Cato, IPsec Tunnels, and VMware. They also need someone with 1-2 years of cloud networking experience in Azure and/or AWS.

Both roles are full-time, primarily remote but need to be local to Dallas as they have a datacenter in the area you’ll have to go into from time to time. Salary ranges from $130-145K plus a 10% 401(k). Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of network engineering experience, 3+ in a datacenter environment.
  • Cisco (Meraki/Nexus), Cisco ASA/FirePower, Cato, and VMware experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud networking with Azure and/or AWS.
  • Knowledge of VMware. Desired Skills & Experience
    • Bachelors or Associate Degree OR related certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc).
    • Any Windows system experience (Hyper-V, O365, Azure) nice to have. The Offer
