Job Description

Analyze process, product, and component performance to identify improvement opportunities.Develop and manage customer-specific Quality Plans.Provide weekly management reports and analysis on quality data.Assist with customer product specifications, including labels, quality goals, and assembly requirements.Implement statistical process controls.Monitor ISO internal controls.Support production processes with quality expertise.Train QA Technicians, Operations, and entry-level Engineers on procedures and systems.Assist operators and technicians with the shop floor system.Manage and publish Quality Assurance Performance Reports, including process yields and root cause analysis.Ensure quality and product data conformance to specifications.Drive corrective actions on CARs.Perform internal quality audits.Lead failure analysis on systemic non-conformances and field returns, implementing corrective actions.Generate process documentation, including procedures, alerts, and deviations.Participate in MRB review and disposition processes.Recommend DFM or DFT analysis for quality improvement and cost reduction.Facilitate ECO implementation with analysis, approval, and verification.Provide NPI support to product teams, suppliers, and customers.Handle other responsibilities as needed.

The Successful Applicant

BS in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.Preferred 5-10 years in engineering or manufacturing.Strong initiative to investigate production opportunities and implement root cause and preventative actions.Required knowledge of statistics and statistical methods.Proficient in Word and Excel.Preferred experience in medium to high volume assembly and/or SMT manufacturing, including electrical, mechanical, and PCA components.
