DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in helping to make healthcare easier? If so, come join the Amazon Pharmacy Legal team and work with us to achieve our mission of helping people get the medications they need to become and stay healthy.

We are looking for a talented attorney to support Amazon Pharmacy's contracting work with payers, manufacturers, and other third parties, as well as related regulatory compliance and product counseling work. As part of a team of attorneys, you will work directly with the business, providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and serving as counsel on strategic issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong transactional/contract drafting skills, be curious, innovative, and enthusiastic about healthcare services. You should enjoy working hard and being challenged, demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 2+ years of legal experience
  2. Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
  3. Experience in private practice or in-house experience at a technology company or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
  2. Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
