CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

How you'll create opportunities in this Quality Assurance Lead role:

  • Drive a holistic and quality-first approach to software development and delivery.
  • Manage QA teams while effectively solving problems that cross product, functional and geographical boundaries.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of internal and external QA Engineers.
  • Collect metrics to determine readiness, quality and operability of software, systems and product.
  • Create and manage automated scripts to increase speed-to-market for software updates, maintenance, and rollbacks.
  • Take ownership of manual and automated test execution, QA processes, and day to day QA activities.
  • Champion learning, growth, engagement and continuous improvement for yourself and others in the organization.
  • Drive a holistic and quality-first approach to software development and delivery.
  • Manage QA teams while effectively solving problems that cross product, functional and geographical boundaries.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of internal and external QA Engineers.
  • Collect metrics to determine readiness, quality and operability of software, systems and product.

What you will need:

  • Five years of experience required; three of which needs to be in a quality assurance role.
  • Solid understanding of all aspect of SDLC cycle.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of one or more programming languages (preferably JavaScript or Python).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional and international partners.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

What you will need:

  • Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, ELK stack)
