Our client is currently seeking a Plant Manager a dynamic industrial manufacturing company specializing in the field of thermoforming plastics.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet our high standards and production goals.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all plant operations and protect sensitive information.
  • Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Address employee issues and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
  • Work with corporate managers on budgets, forecasting, and planning.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions and supervise workers, schedules, and workflow.
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving functions.
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a Plant Manager in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding plant operations and sensitive information.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
    • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
    • Be knowledgeable about safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
    • Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
    • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
      • Relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are advantageous.
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing facility.
