Job Description

The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain clear documentation for automation equipment and processes.Assist in equipment procurement, installation, and perform assigned duties.Collaborate with production and engineering, facilitating design changes and communicating recommendations.Design fixtures and tooling, troubleshoot product and process issues, and undertake special assignments.Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvements, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure compliance with safety standards while participating in cross-functional meetings.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will:

Hold a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.10+ years of hands-on practical experience supporting the manufacturing floor, specifically working with automated machinery and processes Showcase equipment troubleshooting skills, essential for debugging and resolving issues in existing systems.Exhibit strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Written communication skills are essential for record-keeping and documentation.Display problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, necessary for troubleshooting and finding effective solutions.Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and knowledge/experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
