SUMMARY: The ATI Student Ambassador is a student who is both an advocate for and “Super User” of ATI solutions. The Student Ambassador is a student leader who is available to assist in student training as well as serve as a mentor for students throughout the Nursing Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Peer Training regarding ATI Solutions

1.     Functions as a student leader who assists new students with ATI website navigation, including:

i.       Onboarding new students to ensure resources are loaded properly.

ii.     Assisting students with basic website navigation.

iii.    Walking through student results and remediation strategies.

2.     Assumes day to day responsibility for assisting students with questions, including:

i.       Being available to help with challenges students encounter.

ii.     Serving as a liaison with ATI regarding questions that arise from students.

iii.    Encouraging instructor/student academic partnership for course clarification and assistance.

Student Mentor/ Peer Leader

1.     Assists students through the duration of program to maximize ATI investment.

2.     Advises peers on time management skills and strategies.

3.     Guides peers to available institutional resources to foster time management skills.

4.     Guides students through their own ATI experiences, educational experience (i.e., overcome challenges).

General

  • Adheres to University policies and procedures and provides leadership to all students through mentorship and example.
  • Maintains regular and timely attendance, reports to work as scheduled and assures time worked and/or time off is recorded properly.
  • Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the University’s Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance Agreement, Sexual Harassment Policy or any of its policies and procedures, applicable federal and states laws, and applicable professional standards.
  • Maintains established department policies, procedures and attends in-services and other required meetings.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all student, associate, and/or university information as required.
  • Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
  • Communicates school schedule with Supervisor and ensures they do not work during scheduled class time.
