As a Production Operator for our Agricultural Products business unit located in Southwest St. Louis County, you will build a meaningful career while supporting BASF’s St. Louis, MO manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity to join our team working in a challenging and dynamic manufacturing environment. The Production team, which includes operators, blenders, leads, and supervisors, with varying backgrounds, ensures that our plant operates in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work a 10-hour shift, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
- Have the ability to setup, operate, monitor and adjust production related equipment to assure safe operation and product quality.
- Be knowledgeable of and follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety practices
- Control product quality through communicating item damage or off spec condition that exist to Quality Control.
- Maintain Housekeeping and 5S sustainability.
- Capable of being crossed trained in other production work-related areas and processes.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Own at least 1 year of production experience (preferred).
- Possess intermediate computer skills (preferred).
- Are mechanically inclined (preferred).
