Summary:

As an Accountant in the manufacturing industry, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of the company's accounting practices. Your responsibilities will revolve around managing financial records, analyzing data, and providing essential support to the financial team.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs and variances, providing insights into cost?saving opportunities, production efficiencies, and budgeting processes.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting, monitor inventory levels
  • Month?End Close: Execute month?end and year?end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Vendor and Payables Management: Manage vendor relationships, oversee accounts payable processes, and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Customer and Receivable Management: Manage customer relationships, oversee accounts receivable processes, and ensure timely and accurate payment receipts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting within the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
