Restoration/Disaster Recovery Project Manager

Seeking qualified and experienced Project Managers to help lead our Disaster Recovery and Restoration Teams throughout the country. Lead projects with a staff of multiple Restoration Supervisors, support staff, and General Labor staff.

General

o Maintain preparedness for dispatch in accordance with company policy.

o Ensure readiness of personal items and “go bag” for rapid deployment.

o Ensure vehicles, equipment, and supplies are properly stocked, fueled, and maintained for immediate deployment.

• Assist management in inspecting potential losses and developing a scope of service.

• Managing staff of restoration supervisors, labor, equipment, and resources

• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check, MVR check, Preemployment Drug Screening, and DOT Physical / obtain a DOT Medical Card.

• Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (box truck up to 26’ in length – CDL not required).

Project Specific – may also be in addition to and include Restoration Supervisor and/or Assistant Project Manager responsibilities depending on specific project size and scope.

Project Dispatch

• Book and document travel arrangements in accordance with company policy

• Communicate travel progress and ETA with management and customer representatives.

• Manage project mobilization process.

  1. Daily Organization and Preparation

    • Create and review daily production assignments with staff.

    • Review goals, progress, and requirements with on-site customer representative(s)

    • Prepare for morning meeting with APM and/or staff including written assignments, instructions, and goals.

    • Communicate daily assignments, goals, documentation, and expectations with staff including jobsite walkthrough with APM and/or Restoration Supervisors

    • Supervise daily morning lineup.

  2. Jobsite Management

    • Supervise jobsite staff, including procurement, management, and release of project staff.

    • Ensure strict adherence to company appearance and uniform standards.

    • Maintain an open line of communication with SPM, and/or PD.

    • Ensure adherence to company and industry standards for production and safety by on-site personnel.

    • Document work processes through photographs and detailed job journal notes.

    • Manage project resources and ensure thorough project production financial documentation.

  3. Report Project Progress

    • Report on progress to management and customer representative

    • Report any deficiencies, accidents, or injuries to management.

    • Document project progress in project tracking software (Daily Field Reports / Equipment Logs)

    • Document project progress in project tracking software (Moisture Maps/Readings/ Work Plans

  4. Manage Daily Wrap-Up

    • Ensure adherence to SOP for end-of-shift procedures.

    • Review daily staff paperwork for completeness and accuracy.

    • Submit daily reports in a neat, orderly, and timely manner.

    • Manage proper demobilization of vehicles, tools, and equipment.

    • Review and verify equipment and supply inventories with staff.

    • Complete all final project paperwork and documentation including uploading into project management software.

    • Verify proper preparedness of equipment, tools, and supplies for redeployment.
