THE OPPORTUNITY

This Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist (Threat Modeling)Â position can work remotely within the U.S.
Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for ongoing analysis of security threats and vulnerabilities. Individuals in this role collect data from multiple sources and recommend cybersecurity risk mitigation approaches as well as provide detailed analysis of emerging cybersecurity threats. Individuals in this role provide assistance to cybersecurity personnel to aid in identifying and blocking threats through development of security controls.
What Youâll Work On
Conduct threat modeling to identify security risksâ¨
Manage cybersecurity risks through risk assessmentâ¨
Define security requirements for product solutionsâ¨
Design secure architectures at the system and implementation levelsâ¨
Identify options for mitigating security-related risks and assist in evaluating these optionsâ¨
Support security activities in communications with regulatory bodiesâ¨
Develop advanced technical ideas and guide their development into final productsâ¨
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on securityâ¨â¨
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Bachelorâs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fieldâ¨
5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or related fieldâ¨
Strong understanding of security concepts and best practicesâ¨
Experience with Threat Modeling, Security Risk Assessments, Penetration Testing, MDS2, and SBOM Publishingâ¨
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsâ¨
Ability to work effectively in a team environmentâ¨

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 â $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
