JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation management, human resources (HR) matters, and general corporate matters. This position requires a versatile legal professional who can manage a variety of legal issues and provide strategic advice to business units across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Litigation Management- Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes, including working with external counsel.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Handle pre-litigation disputes and provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Provide legal advice and support on a variety of employment and labor law issues, including hiring, termination, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws.
- Draft and review employment contracts, employee handbooks, and HR policies.
- Assist in handling internal investigations and managing employee grievances.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Provide support to General Counsel.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to various business units.
- Conduct legal research and keep abreast of relevant legal developments.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to employees on legal topics as needed.
- Assist with other legal matters and special projects as assigned.
