The MedStar Medical Group - Radiology practice is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to join our growing practice in MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). A wide range of interventional procedures are performed at MWHC ranging from basic to complex. The APP will be responsible for providing pre and post procedural evaluation and management for inpatients and outpatients undergoing IR procedures and performing minor image guided procedures under supervision of interventional radiologist.
The successful candidate will be joining a larger MedStar interventional practice, with the entire group sharing a common administration, and with collaborative programs in quality and practice building.IR Experience in hospital based acute care practice is preferred and DC license is required.
Responsibilities: Inpatient and outpatient; clinic, consults and procedures; Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, varieties of vascular access procedures (training available)Environment: Congenial team. Cutting edge, innovative and collaborative
