Monday - Friday, 12:30PM - 9PM and 9AM - 5:30PM
Rotating Saturdays
Here's a little more on how you'll make a difference:
- Supporting pharmacological services by assembling, stocking, and distributing medications
- Maintaining records by recording and filing the prescriptions and orders of patients
- Sorting, stocking and labeling medications and monitoring inventory
- Adhering the medication label to the medications
- Collecting all appropriate medications for a patient order, placing them in a bin, and forwarding them to a pharmacist for verification.
- Assisting patients with pickup orders at the pharmacy
- Responding to the requests of facility managers and co-workers, answering their questions, and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacists
- Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy, such as by sterilizing equipment and surfaces & maintaining a standardized picking bench.
- Undertaking administrative tasks such as record-keeping as assigned by a pharmacist or facility manager from time to time.
- Must be comfortable standing, bending, walking, lifting for the duration of their shift.
What you need:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Relevant experience or a willingness to learn.
- MA Pharmacy Technician t rainee license required or valid MA Pharmacy Technician License (we will assist with process of obtaining, if you do not have)
- Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills
- Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
