Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers, to process transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
