As a Software Engineer Intern , you will explore and prototype software technology in the process industries, execute a project in AI, Machine Learning, or Control, be a part of a cross-functional team with frontend development, backend development, and UX, and work in an agile team and learn to scope and execute projects.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Research and learn about product development using an agile development methodology

  • Design and develop frontend UI and supporting services

  • Become familiar with frontend reactive frameworks

  • Design and implement APIs

  • Apply AI technologies to support frontend functions

  • Learn about and compare AI and Machine Learning algorithms

  • Utilize service-based techniques

  • Build software in C#, GO, and Python

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Software Development.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

  • Software development - algorithms, networking, and language development such as C/C++, C#, and Go are required.

  • Be familiar with Javascript

  • Completion of specific courses such as signal processing, compilers, computer architecture, or software algorithms

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Entering either their Junior, Senior, or graduate year.

  • Completed courses in computer architecture, software algorithms, linear algebra, C/C++, C#. or Go

  • Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angual

  • Exposure to: AI, Machine Leaning, Data Cleaning

  • Previous internship experience in a professional environment

  • Strategic mindset and self-motivated

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills

  • Innovative approach to solve problems
