About the Team:

Anatomical Pathology (Post Life Services)

In this pre-clinical lab-based role you'll collect, document, and enter data that includes, macroscopic observations at necropsy, tissue collection and histology procedures.
What to Expect:

You will be performing basic necropsy and histology tasks on a variety of laboratory animals in compliance with the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and regulatory guidelines.

Performing necropsy and tissue collections on a variety of speciesPerforming organ weights, tissue freezing and sample collection for TEMPerforming histological trimming, embedding and microtomyAdhering to animal health and welfare guidance in compliance with the Animal Health and Welfare Act and help maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance.Perform data collection per GLPs

Education:

This is a hire-ahead position with a future start date. The ideal candidate would be a current student with intentions to graduate between December 2024 and May 2025
