Basic Function

As a member of our dynamic Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in helping us supply our products to a global customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity and the accuracy of Master Data in any of the following: Material Master, Customer Master, Transit Routes, and Quality Data. During a typical day, you will receive Master Data requests from internal customers and must complete requests in a timely manner.
This position reports to the North America Master Data (NAMD) Manager and is located at our North American Headquarters in Downtown Houston. The position offers a competitive base salary, bonus, 401K matching, generous benefits package, pension plan, parking subsidy and employee discounts.

Roles & Responsibilities

•    Manage requests from internal client groups regarding Master Data requests, all requests must be completed in a timely manner.
•    Act as a main point of contact for Account Specialists, Planning, Asset Managers, Marketing Managers, Technical Services, Credit, and other internal groups to support Master Data requests.
•    Assure accuracy of all customer, material, and quality master data in SAP and extended systems, which may include PLM, SharePoint, and Prizm.
•    Manage data requests to drive content accuracy and data governance.
•    Manage technical service and permit tables with Customer Master to allow timely delivery of product to the customer.
•    Collaborate with IT and Account Specialists to process customer label requests.
•    Proactively perform audits and correct issues of Master Data to ensure accuracy of all Master Data in SAP.
•    Maintain operational excellence through accurate, conscientious transactional execution according to established key performance indicators (KPI).
•    Operate with a solution-oriented mindset with regard to process improvements; Lead change implementation for extended system improvements or other Master Data projects.
•    Partner with peers to provide solutions, guidance to resolve business related problems.
•    Model LyondellBasell core competencies with internal customers.

Min. Qualifications

•    The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year relevant, industry related experience.
•    A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Will consider candidates with a High School Diploma that have at least 5 years' relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
•    Must possess excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills with a focus on results, customer service and change management.
•    The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with extended tools.
•    1+ years of SAP experience is preferred; experience working specifically in SAP SD Module is preferred.
