Responsible for the protection of information systems and network assets, processes, hardware/software components and equipment in the Information Technology (IT) and telecommunication environment.
Implements an Information Assurance Security Program (ISSP) that provides protection for all IT assets connected to installation and ensures IT systems or hardware/software components are accredited.
Coordinates status to higher headquarters on related Information Assurance (IA) Program (IAP) objectives and sub-disciplines, IA Vulnerabilities (IAVM), IA Workforce Training, IA Metrics and IA/IT system and network certification in Region Hawaii.
