Job Description

Boarhog LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AEGIS Baseline Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our engineering support services contracts, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating an assigned baseline of activities to our engineering support services team and the direct government project lead.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and communicate clear independent engineering and financial information, reports, build schedules, and metrics occurring across the assigned baseline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate an assigned baseline of activities to the engineering support services team and the direct government project lead.
  • Articulate and communicate clear independent engineering and financial information, reports, build schedules, and metrics occurring across the assigned baseline.
  • Partner and integrate with a team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of development of computer programs critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military Sales.
  • Coordinate, plan, collaborate with the T&E, System Engineering, Logistics, Cyber, and Division for system testing events and necessary support.
  • Facilitate quick communications of customer requirements and requests to the engineering support services staff.
  • Provide daily communications to the Baseline Coordinator manager, and BAE of government requests and actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in any of the recognized disciplines plus a minimum of two (2) years' experience with US Navy/Aegis Combat System.
  • Previous experience in the role of responsible engineer is desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Professional Tool Suite.
  • The ability to recognize, react, and understand your role in a chain of command structure to ensure swift and thorough communications.
  • Familiarity with digital applications.
  • Detailed understanding of the Aegis Combat System data analysis structure to assist in innovating and promoting new methods to assess data more efficiently.
  • Communicate quick decisions and apply logical reasoning within fast-paced and highly visual situations.
  • Demonstrate the willingness and desire to further gained technical knowledge.
  • Possess excellent oral, written, and project lead skills.
  • Work under Baseline Manager supervision, and provide sound judgment, allegiance, and accuracy in all reporting aspects.
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for a high-level DOD Security Clearance.
