Job Overview:

The Tax Manager will have primary responsibility over the management of federal and state income tax compliance, including: the federal consolidated income tax return, state separate and combined income tax returns, quarterly tax estimates, annual tax extensions, and state income tax audits. As a critical member of the Finance team, the Tax Manager will act as a strategic business partner on operating and business transaction projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage federal and state income tax return compliance, ensuring timely filing of complete and accurate income tax returns using Corptax software
Assist with federal, state and local income tax audits
Provide support to the quarterly/annual tax provision process
Show a good understanding of multi-state tax issues and complexities
Research tax matters and document conclusions and recommendations
Support VP Tax on enterprise-wide tax, operating and business transaction projects

Skills Required:

Strong working knowledge of US Federal, State and International income tax

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Proficiency with Corptax software a must

Qualifications:

BS/BBA in Accounting, CPA. MST or advanced degree preferred but not required
Minimum of 7-10 years experience in Public/Corporate Tax
This role will have a hybrid work schedule, requiring presence 3x/weekly at the corporate office in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
