We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our accounting group, a leading market maker in Chicago, IL. As the Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for state, federal, and international tax work, working side by side with the controller and reporting directly into the CFO. You will be a key member of a talented and sharp team composed of individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset.

We are seeking someone who is driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leadership. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership experience and potentially grow the team in the future.

Requirements:-

  • Strong technical skills and 6+ years of solid accounting experience

  • Indirect tax experience
    CPA highly preferred, but we are open to seeing candidates without it

  • Public accounting background is highly desirable

-Experience in financial services, trading, or tech is a huge plus

-SAP and/or Workday experience would be a plus or other similar ERP (NetSuite, Dynamics GP) -Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
