Job Summary:

The Construction Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control and assurance processes on construction projects. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the Quality Plan and for the management and oversight of all quality issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Professional certification in Quality Management from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or the American Society of Civil Engineers, or other certifications e.g. ISO 9001, Six Sigma

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality management or a related role.

Proven experience in managing quality control on large-scale construction projects.

Skills:

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.

Knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, and regulations.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.

May require occasional travel to different project sites.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation is commensurate with experience in a similar role and includes a comprehensive benefits package. This role is an exempt, full time salaried position.
