Our client, a Cybersecurity solutions provider, are looking to bring aboard a Linux System Administrator to their organization to maintain classified systems as well as manage and administer Linux environments that are Active Directory integrated. 

This is a full-time hybrid position. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our Linux-based systems. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the optimal performance of our network and systems. Your role will be critical in maintaining the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities: Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Perform system troubleshooting and provide technical support to internal teams. Implement and maintain network security measures to protect systems and data. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve them promptly. Conduct regular system updates, patches, and backups. Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and security policies. Requirements: 
Proven experience in Linux system administration. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, of Chef Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills. Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices. Experience with managing Linux-based systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security measures. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications such as Linux+, RHCE, or equivalent are a plus. This role is on-site in Rhode Island and will require the ability to acquire a secret clearance
