  • This is a full-time position on-site with the Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL), located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ.As a chemical hygiene specialist you will: Manage the TSL Chemical Hygiene Program, to include support for all testing and operations involving chemicals and the Hazardous materials and Hazardous Waste programs.
  • Manage TSL’s Industrial Hygiene program.
  • Manage TSL’s spill response program.
  • Chemical hygiene specialist requirements: BS in Chemistry, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or similar chemistry-related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Substantial knowledge of toxicology and a minimum of years’ specialized experience managing a facility Chemical Hygiene Program, preferably in a laboratory environment.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations (TSL, OSHA, MSHA, etc
  • Requires Secret Security Clearance or higher and DHS Suitability, or ability to obtain within days of hire.
  • The corporation also provides sophisticated technical products for environmental site characterization, pavement analysis, and robotics.
